{"id":26552,"date":"2018-04-24T02:07:52","date_gmt":"2018-04-23T20:37:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=26552"},"modified":"2018-04-24T02:07:52","modified_gmt":"2018-04-23T20:37:52","slug":"hfw-dept-bags-cms-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/04\/24\/hfw-dept-bags-cms-award\/","title":{"rendered":"HFW dept bags CM&#8217;s award"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>CS cautions government servants against corruption<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Apr 23:<\/strong> The health &amp; family welfare department (HFW) has been awarded the Chief Minister&#8217;s Award for Excellence in Public Administration in the team\/department category for achieving cent percent immunization coverage under the Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign in the state.<br \/>\nIn the individual category, HFW Commissioner Kaling Tayeng and Deputy Secretary Ikar Dirchi were awarded for excellence in public service.<br \/>\nChief Secretary Satya Gopal made the announcement during the Civil Service Day celebration at the state banquet hall here.<br \/>\nAddressing the participants, Gopal urged the civil servants to reaffirm their commitment to make a better Arunachal. He exhorted them to infuse professionalism, discipline, punctuality and dedication in their day-to-day work.<br \/>\nSaying that efforts are being made to improve work ethics and service delivery to bring in transparency and eliminate ad-hocism and red tape, the CS issued a stern warning to all government officials against practicing corruption in any form, urging them to uphold moral values and shun indiscipline, turpitude and arrogance.<br \/>\n&#8220;Civil servants should be impartial and work only in public interest, without communal, tribal or personal affiliations,&#8221; he added.<br \/>\nThe CS also urged the officers and officials to work together for inclusive and sustainable growth of the state.<br \/>\nCooperation Minister Alo Libang acknowledged the role of the civil servants in the development of the state and said the government and the civil servants &#8220;have to travel together and cannot be separated as the latter forms the core of the state&#8217;s executive.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe minister also released the compendium of notification, orders, office memorandum, etc, issued by the administrative reforms department during 2017.<br \/>\nOfficers of government departments later made presentations on various topics.<br \/>\nAmong others, the programme saw the participation of commissioners, secretaries, HoDs and senior government officers.
