The theft occurred between Naharlagun and Gumto railway stations, impacting ongoing efforts to electrify the Harmuti-Naharlagun railway line. It has also delayed plans to launch the much-anticipated Rajdhani service between Naharlagun and Delhi, holding up the trial runs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Senior officials visited the site to assess the damage. Railway authorities confirmed that the missing wire is crucial to the electrification project, which has now been delayed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Authorities are investigating the theft and have urged the public to come forward with any information. Clearly, the thieves showed little concern for the consequences of stealing such a vital component.
