NGOLEKO, 28 Jul:<\/strong> Health Minister Biyuram Wahge and NABARD Arunachal Pradesh Regional Office General Manager Damodar Mishra together inaugurated a rural haat in Ngoleko village in Pakke-Kessang district on Monday to enhance the NABARD’s marketing assistance for rural women.<\/p>\n This initiative is aimed at creating a venue to sell local agricultural products, handlooms, and handicrafts.<\/p>\n Acknowledging the NABARD’s efforts in reaching out to rural communities, the minister urged the PLF members to maximize the use of the available infrastructure. “We are eager to see NABARD continue its work in encouraging sustainable development and empowering the residents of Pakke-Kessang for a hopeful future,” Wahge said, and added that partnerships between industry and government are essential for promoting inclusive growth.<\/p>\n Mishra in his address stated that the NABARD is dedicated to promoting sustainable progress and supporting rural communities. “The rural haat exemplifies our collaboration with local farmers and producers, establishing a strong marketplace for them,” he said.<\/p>\n He also stressed the importance of financial inclusion and credit linkages.<\/p>\n Deputy Commissioner Bani Lego urged the community to “practice cleanliness and hygiene while working on action plans to enhance rural areas.” He also requested local assistance in fostering a “peaceful and advancing atmosphere.”<\/p>\n The rural haat is equipped with a variety of necessary amenities, such as a storage room, office area, and facilities for drinking water and sanitation.
