{"id":268106,"date":"2025-08-02T02:34:07","date_gmt":"2025-08-01T21:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=268106"},"modified":"2025-08-02T02:34:07","modified_gmt":"2025-08-01T21:04:07","slug":"training-prog-on-crop-cultivation-in-sandy-soil-concludes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2025\/08\/02\/training-prog-on-crop-cultivation-in-sandy-soil-concludes\/","title":{"rendered":"Training prog on crop cultivation in sandy soil concludes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PASIGHAT, 1 Aug:<\/strong> Twenty-one trainees from various departments participated in a five-day training programme on &#8216;Water management techniques for the cultivation of vegetable crops in sandy soil of Arunachal Pradesh&#8217;, which concluded at the College of Agriculture (CoA) here in East Siang district on Friday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme, funded by the Central Agricultural University, Imphal, saw the participation of trainees from the Agriculture Department, HorticultureDepartment, ATMA district training office, Soil Conservation Department, and Krishi Vigyan Kendras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The training course was directed by Prof Saroj Kumar Pattanaaik of the agriculture engineering department of the CoA.
