Initially, I thought the authority would clean it, but sadly, the garbage problem continues.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This garbage not only causes foul smell, but it also presents a dirty mess in the colony. Mosquitoes are likely to breed in it, and might transmit communicable diseases through stray dogs eating waste items.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Except for this piling up of garbage, P Sector is one of the cleanest sectors in the ICR, as it also leads to the private residence of union minister Kiren Rijiju and many important offices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I would like to appeal to the Itanagar Municipal Corporation, especially the ward corporator, to kindly direct staffers and send a garbage truck to clean the garbage before it spreads.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I also appeal to the residents of the colony to throw garbage on routine &#8211; ie early morning or night &#8211; as it is our moral responsibility to cooperate with the authority in keeping the colony clean.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Concerned citizen<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Editor, This to bring to the attention of the Itanagar Municipal Corporation the matter of piling up of garbage along the P Sector road, near the PCCF office, which is just 20-30 metre away from the national highway.
