{"id":27055,"date":"2018-04-28T01:38:03","date_gmt":"2018-04-27T20:08:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=27055"},"modified":"2018-04-28T01:38:03","modified_gmt":"2018-04-27T20:08:03","slug":"review-meeting-on-sbm-g-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/04\/28\/review-meeting-on-sbm-g-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Review meeting on SBM (G) held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Apr 27:<\/strong> Superintending engineers, executive engineers, AEs, JEs, zilla preraks and consultants participated in a state level review meeting on Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) components for the 2017-18 financial year, at the state water testing laboratory here on Friday.<br \/>\nSBM (G) Mission Director Toko Jyoti made a short presentation on the overall activities under SBM (G), and lauded the field functionaries for their efforts in attaining open defecation-free (ODF) status.<br \/>\nThe executive engineers made PowerPoint presentations on component-wise physical and financial achievements of their departments for the year 2017-18; the updated position of ODF verification; the status of geo-tagging; action plan for 2018-19; innovative proposal for sustainability of ODF status, etc.<br \/>\nPHE&amp;WS Minister Bamang Felix praised the PHED team for achieving the ODF status, and stressed on the importance of sustaining the status.<br \/>\nHe accentuated the need to continue with the same zeal and enthusiasm on the &#8216;Water to all&#8217; programme, to be completed by 2021 &#8211; a year ahead of the national target, which is 2022.<br \/>\nHe also emphasized the need to &#8220;take responsibility to convert this movement into a &#8216;jan andolan&#8217; and change the mindset of the public.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe zilla Swachh Bharat preraks working in various districts of the state shared their experiences and ideas for sustainability of the ODF status and solid liquid &amp; waste management.<br \/>\nSBM (G) Mission Director S Yomcha also attended the meeting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Apr 27: Superintending engineers, executive engineers, AEs, JEs, zilla preraks and consultants participated in a state level review meeting on Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) components for the 2017-18 financial year, at the state water testing laboratory here on Friday.
