{"id":271639,"date":"2025-10-01T01:45:06","date_gmt":"2025-09-30T20:15:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=271639"},"modified":"2025-10-01T01:45:06","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T20:15:06","slug":"workshop-on-pulse-cultivation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2025\/10\/01\/workshop-on-pulse-cultivation\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop on pulse cultivation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PASIGHAT, 30 Sep:<\/strong> The College of Agriculture (CoA) here in East Siang district organized a workshop on &#8216;Nutri livelihood boost through advanced pulse cultivation technologies&#8217; at Sikabamin on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A total of 95 farmers and scientists from diverse backgrounds participated in the workshop to share knowledge, experiences and innovative practices in pulse cultivation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CoA Dean Dr Sanjay Swami, speaking on the occasion, emphasized the potential of advanced pulse cultivation technologies to boost farmers&#8217; livelihoods and ensure their sustainable future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">CoA board member Gomin Megu highlighted the significance of pulse cultivation in enhancing food security, promoting sustainable agriculture, and improving farmers&#8217; livelihoods.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the technical sessions, resource person Prof Gireesh Chand shared inspiring stories of farmers who have successfully adopted pulse cultivation.
