GUWAHATI, 29 Jan:<\/strong> Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Star Cement Limited, Pradeep Purohit was presented with the ‘Achiever Award for Corporate Excellence’ at the Sadin-Pratidin Group achiever awards-giving ceremony 2025, held in Guwahati on Tuesday.<\/p>\n The award was presented by union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya M Scindia in recognition of Purohit’s exemplary leadership and significant contribution to strengthening corporate performance, alongside his continued focus on high-impact and responsible corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives.<\/p>\n Beyond corporate leadership, Purohit is also widely recognised for his active role in addressing key industry and policy concerns relevant to the Northeast – particularly in the cement and allied sectors. Purohit also holds a prominent leadership position as chairman of the CII North Bengal Zonal Council.
