{"id":278001,"date":"2026-02-13T00:27:31","date_gmt":"2026-02-12T18:57:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=278001"},"modified":"2026-02-13T00:27:31","modified_gmt":"2026-02-12T18:57:31","slug":"railway-official-inspects-murkongselek-pasighat-bg-railway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2026\/02\/13\/railway-official-inspects-murkongselek-pasighat-bg-railway\/","title":{"rendered":"Railway official inspects Murkongselek-Pasighat BG railway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Correspondent<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PASIGHAT, 12 Feb:<\/strong> The Northeast Frontier Railway&#8217;s (NFR) Railway Safety Commissioner Sumeet Singhal inspected the newly constructed 13-km stretch of the rail route from Murkongselek (Assam) to Sille station (Arunachal Pradesh) of the Murkongselek-Pasighat broad gauge (BG) railway on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Singhal was accompanied by Divisional Railway Manager (Construction) of Tinsukia, Parag Katre and other officials.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sources in the NFR informed that construction activities of the 13-km stretch of the BG railway from Murkongselek to Sille station has been completed and is ready for a trial run.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NFR officials are conducting a &#8216;speed trial run&#8217; of a special train on the BG track on Friday.
