{"id":279532,"date":"2026-03-15T00:57:48","date_gmt":"2026-03-14T19:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=279532"},"modified":"2026-03-15T00:59:00","modified_gmt":"2026-03-14T19:29:00","slug":"20-more-households-extend-support-for-sumps-pfr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2026\/03\/15\/20-more-households-extend-support-for-sumps-pfr\/","title":{"rendered":"20 more households extend support for SUMP&#8217;s PFR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>YINGKIONG, 14 Mar:<\/strong> Twenty more families of Simong village in Upper Siang district have extended their consent to carrying out activities to prepare the pre-feasibility report (PFR) for the Siang Upper Multipurpose Project (SUMP).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On behalf of the villagers, Genom Tekseng submitted the consent letters to Deputy Commissioner Talo Jerang at the DC&#8217;s bungalow here on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jerang appreciated the forward-thinking mindset of the villagers of Simong, stating that such a step would go a long way in promoting development and progress in the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With this latest development, a total of 194 out of 240 families of Simong village have given their consent to the MoU for PFR activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier, 128 families had submitted their consent on 26 February, followed by 46 families on 6 March, expressing their support and commitment towards the PFR survey.
