{"id":279798,"date":"2026-03-19T00:19:28","date_gmt":"2026-03-18T18:49:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=279798"},"modified":"2026-03-20T22:47:54","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T17:17:54","slug":"gac-reviews-govt-assurances","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2026\/03\/19\/gac-reviews-govt-assurances\/","title":{"rendered":"GAC reviews govt assurances"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 18 Mar:<\/strong> The Government Assurance Committee (GAC) of the 8th Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh, in its fourth sitting held here on Wednesday, reviewed government&#8217;s assurances made in the house and examined the status of their implementation by departments concerned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The committee stressed the need for timely action and effective follow-up to ensure that commitments made before the legislature are fulfilled in a prompt and accountable manner.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The sitting was chaired by GAC chairman Laisam Simai.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The committee members were minister for parliamentary affairs Pasang Dorjee Sona, MLAs Rotom Tebin and Tsering Lhamu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the officers of the assembly secretariat present in the meeting were secretary Tadar Meena, additional secretary Agaab Mossang, and under secretary Kheto Lowang.
