PASIGHAT, 31 Mar:<\/strong> The Spearhead Gunners, under the aegis of the Indian Army’s Spearhead Division, conducted a ‘Know Your Army’ (KYA) event at the Sigar military station in East Siang district on Tuesday as part of its project ‘Navbharat’.<\/p>\n A large number of students from the College of Horticulture and Forestry and the College of Agriculture were present during the programme.<\/p>\n A key highlight of the programme was an extensive equipment display, ranging from modern military systems to indigenous defence technologies. The Army’s outreach programme also featured a series of ‘Join Indian Army’ motivational lectures and audiovisual presentations designed to inform the participants about the diverse career avenues in the armed forces.<\/p>\n In addition, informative lectures on ‘Operation Sindoor’were conducted, providing the attendees with deeper insight into the planning, execution and significance of military operations.<\/p>\n During the interaction, the Army personnel helped the students gain firsthand perspectives on military life, leadership values, and the spirit of service before self.
