{"id":281418,"date":"2026-04-20T01:11:06","date_gmt":"2026-04-19T19:41:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=281418"},"modified":"2026-04-20T01:11:06","modified_gmt":"2026-04-19T19:41:06","slug":"girl-dies-after-falling-from-moving-school-bus-in-w-siang","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2026\/04\/20\/girl-dies-after-falling-from-moving-school-bus-in-w-siang\/","title":{"rendered":"Girl dies after falling from moving school bus in W\/Siang"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, 19 Apr:<\/strong> A 13-year-old girl died in West Siang district after she fell from a moving school bus, police said on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nyayir Kame, a resident of Lungte village in Shi-Yomi district, fell after the bus failed to come to a complete halt, Aalo Police Station OC Lakhi Mena said, quoting the investigating officer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The incident occurred at around 2 pm near Darka when the school bus, en route from Pasighat in East Siang district, was carrying students, including Kame, who had attended a church-organised youth camp in Basar, Leparada district.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The police said that Kame felt nauseous and urged the driver to stop, but she alighted prematurely, leading to her fatal fall.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;An FIR has been lodged and a case registered,&#8221; the police added.
