{"id":281505,"date":"2026-04-22T00:24:11","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T18:54:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=281505"},"modified":"2026-04-22T00:24:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T18:54:11","slug":"training-prog-on-mushroom-cultivation-held-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2026\/04\/22\/training-prog-on-mushroom-cultivation-held-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Training prog on mushroom cultivation held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NIRJULI, 21 Apr:<\/strong> The North East Institute of Science &amp; Technology&#8217;s (NEIST) Itanagar branch, in collaboration with office of the assistant commissioner, Naharlagun, organised a training programme on cultivation of mushroom and its commercialisation on Tuesday at the Serene Rehabilitation Centre here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">About 30 beneficiaries attended the programme, which was aimed to motivate the participants to take up sustainable income generation source.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Naharlagun CO Nani Mamung, NEIST principal scientist Chandan Tamuly, and principal scientist Dr Prasenjit Manna conducted the programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The CO motivated the participants and assured them of further assistance from the administration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tamuly delivered a talk on the importance of mushroom cultivation for sustainable income generation, and assured to provide further technical support to the participants.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He delivered a talk on &#8216;Commercial cultivation of mushroom towards sustainable socioeconomic development to combat malnutrition&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr Manna explained the commercialisation of mushroom for improvement of rural economy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A hands-on training was also imparted to the participants.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NIRJULI, 21 Apr: The North East Institute of Science &amp; Technology&#8217;s (NEIST) Itanagar branch, in collaboration with office of the assistant commissioner, Naharlagun, organised a training programme on cultivation of mushroom and its commercialisation on Tuesday at the Serene Rehabilitation Centre here.
