Editor,<\/strong><\/p>\n I would like to draw attention to a serious issue affecting students from Arunachal Pradesh with regard to the allocation of CUET centres.<\/p>\n A large number of students from the state are being assigned examination centres in different states. This situation is creating significant challenges, especially for those who come from economically weaker backgrounds. Many students do not have proper guidance or support systems to help them navigate travel, accommodation, and other logistical arrangements outside the state.<\/p>\n Travelling to distant locations involves high expenses, including transportation, lodging, and food, which many families cannot afford. Additionally, students face difficulties such as unfamiliar environments, safety concerns, and lack of local assistance. These hurdles may discourage deserving candidates from appearing in the examination altogether, leading to unequal opportunities and adverse consequences for their academic future.<\/p>\n In this regard, I sincerely urge the authorities concerned and the government to intervene and take necessary steps to establish adequate CUET centres within Arunachal.
