The operation was carried out as part of ongoing efforts to curb the spread of naturally growing narcotic plants in the region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The initiative was undertaken under the leadership of Commandant Sachin Kumar. Teams led by Inspectors Chakpu Thaper, Zakhai Wangpang, and Murli R, along with jawans and police personnel, actively participated in the drive.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Equipped with basic tools, the joint team moved through multiple locations along the highway, identified dense patches of wild cannabis, and systematically slashed and uprooted them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the operation, significant quantities of cannabis plants were destroyed at various locations in Senge, Rama Camp, and areas up to Bomdila Pass. The teams ensured that the plants were completely uprooted to prevent regrowth and further spread.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the police and the paramilitary force, the drive was conducted with the objective of keeping society free from drug abuse and preventing easy availability of narcotic substances.
