{"id":29472,"date":"2018-05-22T00:51:46","date_gmt":"2018-05-21T19:21:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=29472"},"modified":"2018-05-22T00:51:46","modified_gmt":"2018-05-21T19:21:46","slug":"app-launches-yoga-health-camp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/05\/22\/app-launches-yoga-health-camp\/","title":{"rendered":"APP launches yoga &#038; health camp"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>CHIMPU, May 21:<\/strong> The Arunachal Pradesh Police and the Arunachal Pradesh Police Family Welfare Association (APPFWA) on Monday launched a month-long &#8216;yoga and health camp&#8217; at the parade ground of the 1st AAPBn headquarters here.<br \/>\nThe programme will be celebrated as &#8216;wellness month&#8217; and will conclude on 21 June, which is celebrated as International Yoga Day.<br \/>\nK Waii, wife of Home Minister Kumar Waii, who attended the inaugural day, led a plantation drive at the parade ground, which was followed by a &#8216;holistic health check-up camp&#8217; for police personnel and their families.<br \/>\nThe event was attended by, among others, DGP SBK Singh, APPFWA chief advisor Dr Sushi Singh, IGP Sunil Garg, DIGP Tusar Taba, and DIGP Take Ringu.<br \/>\nDr Singh announced that during the health camp, the APPFWA, as a special gesture of public welfare, will distribute free spectacles after eye-check ups during the health camp.<br \/>\nThe DGP stressed the need of holistic healthcare, and emphasized on the importance of meditation and yoga as means to a healthy and long life.<br \/>\nDuring the month-long programme, yoga and health camps will also be organized the police in all the districts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CHIMPU, May 21: The Arunachal Pradesh Police and the Arunachal Pradesh Police Family Welfare Association (APPFWA) on Monday launched a month-long &#8216;yoga and health camp&#8217; at the parade ground of the 1st AAPBn headquarters here.
