{"id":31432,"date":"2018-06-06T01:23:47","date_gmt":"2018-06-05T19:53:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=31432"},"modified":"2018-06-06T01:23:47","modified_gmt":"2018-06-05T19:53:47","slug":"npp-youth-wing-to-launch-awareness-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/06\/06\/npp-youth-wing-to-launch-awareness-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"NPP youth wing to launch awareness campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Staff Reporter<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Jun 5:<\/strong> The Arunachal Pradesh unit of the Meghalaya-based regional political party, the National People&#8217;s Party (NNP), on Tuesday announced that it will launch a statewide awareness campaign themed, &#8216;Mission clean vote: Say no to money culture, yes to development&#8217;.<br \/>\nBriefing media persons on the objectives of the campaign, state NPP youth wing president Bage Kamsi said, &#8220;The state youth (wing) has nothing to do with the party&#8217;s ideology in the mission; we are only aiming to create awareness on the deep-rooted money culture.&#8221;<br \/>\nKamsi said the youth wing&#8217;s sole objective is to create awareness among the youths of the state to fight against money culture in any form of election. He also highlighted the &#8220;adverse effects of money culture on socioeconomic life.&#8221;<br \/>\nDivulging the campaign&#8217;s strategy, Kamsi said it would involve conducting seminars, distributing pamphlets and circulations, and sharing short movies through social media platforms.<br \/>\nThe campaign, which will start in Itanagar, will be conducted in phases in various districts of the state. A &#8220;mega rally&#8221; will also be held in Itanagar, he said.<br \/>\nThe campaign will target higher educational institutions, religious institutions, community-based apex bodies, etc, and involve people from all walks of life, including civil servants, women social activists, journalists, poets, economists, research scholars, etc, Kamsi said.<br \/>\n&#8220;We know there will be a lot of negativism on the idea, as ours is a deep-rooted money culture.
