{"id":32322,"date":"2018-06-15T00:40:44","date_gmt":"2018-06-14T19:10:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=32322"},"modified":"2018-06-15T00:40:44","modified_gmt":"2018-06-14T19:10:44","slug":"inter-club-badminton-cship-underway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/06\/15\/inter-club-badminton-cship-underway\/","title":{"rendered":"Inter-club badminton c&#8217;ship underway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Jun 14:<\/strong> The Second State Level Inter-Club Prize Money Badminton Mixed Team Championship began at the MLA Cottage badminton hall here on Thursday.<br \/>\nAround 100 shuttlers from seven badminton clubs from various districts are participating in the event, informed Arunachal State Badminton Association joint secretary Penya Bagra.<br \/>\nThe clubs are East Kameng Badminton Club, Sinki Park Badminton Club, Nari Badminton Club (Lower Siang), Tankakso Badminton Club (Tezu, Lohit), Ziro Badminton Club (Lower Subansiri), Capital Badminton Club (Itanagar), and Upper Subansiri Badminton Club.<br \/>\nSports Authority of Arunachal Vice Chairman Doni Nich, who declared the championship open, advised the players to take advantage of the opportunity to show their talents.<br \/>\nStating that success in the hands of the players, he further advised them to train harder in order to achieve success.<br \/>\nThe SAA vice chairman also reiterated the state government&#8217;s commitment towards all-round development of the sports sector.<br \/>\nSports Deputy Director Mala Linggi was also present during the inaugural function.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, Bagra informed that Sinki Park Badminton Club and Tankakso Badminton Club have advanced to the next round after defeating East Kameng Badminton Club (3-1) and Nari Badminton Club (3-0), respectively.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Jun 14: The Second State Level Inter-Club Prize Money Badminton Mixed Team Championship began at the MLA Cottage badminton hall here on Thursday.
