{"id":32327,"date":"2018-06-15T00:41:30","date_gmt":"2018-06-14T19:11:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=32327"},"modified":"2018-06-15T00:41:30","modified_gmt":"2018-06-14T19:11:30","slug":"apcc-demands-compensation-for-iaf-bombing-victims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/06\/15\/apcc-demands-compensation-for-iaf-bombing-victims\/","title":{"rendered":"APCC demands compensation for IAF bombing victims"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Jun 14:<\/strong> The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) on Thursday questioned the state government&#8217;s silence on the 8 June incident in Dollungmukh in Kamle district, in which a civilian was injured during a bombing practice carried out by the Indian Air Force (IAF), and demanded that suitable compensation be offered to the victim &#8220;within a fortnight.&#8221;<br \/>\nIn a press release, the APCC also urged the state government to take measures for immediate shifting of the IAF&#8217;s bombing and drill area to a location devoid of human population.<br \/>\nOn 8 June, Bini Todum, a former SSB jawan, suffered multiple fractures in his knee after being hit by shrapnel from a bomb. He is currently undergoing treatment at the TRIHMS, Naharlagun.<br \/>\n&#8220;The IAFs&#8217; practice and drill area is in between 11 villages of Dollungmukh circle.
