He also reiterated the importance of holistic service to be provided by the department.<br \/>\nImportant issues and policies related to the department were also discussed.<br \/>\nThe meeting mainly focused on the issues of catchment area protection, vision for water to all by 2021, sustainability of ODF status and shortage of manpower in the department.<br \/>\nFormer PHE&amp;WSD Minister Bamang Felix also attended the meeting and shared his views and experiences during his tenure.<br \/>\nFelix complimented the officers of the department, especially for achieving the open defecation free status in the state well before the targeted year.<br \/>\nHe assured the department of his support for future endeavours.<br \/>\nCommissioner of the department, Mamya Ete also participated in the meeting and shared his views on the relevance of team work. He advised the officers to abide by the CCS conduct rule while discharging their duties.<br \/>\nAll the CEs and SEs made zonal wise and circle wise PowerPoint presentation on the achievements.
