{"id":35180,"date":"2018-07-05T01:24:21","date_gmt":"2018-07-04T19:54:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=35180"},"modified":"2018-07-05T01:24:21","modified_gmt":"2018-07-04T19:54:21","slug":"nscn-im-camps-busted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/07\/05\/nscn-im-camps-busted\/","title":{"rendered":"NSCN (IM) camps busted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>CHANGLANG, Jul 4:<\/strong> Security forces deployed here have busted three major camps of the NSCN (IM), during a joint operation here on Tuesday.<br \/>\nA joint team of the Assam Rifles and the Indian Army conducted operations at Motongsa village under Jairampur sub-division of Changlang district resulting in destruction of three camps and a logistic dump of the outfit yesterday, Kohima-based Defence PRO Col C Konwer said in a statement.<br \/>\nThe security forces had launched the operation after receiving specific intelligence about presence of the outfit&#8217;s cadres attempting to extort people in and around the village, he said.<br \/>\nThere was, however, no report of any casualty or arrest.<br \/>\nA massive search operation is in progress to locate and neutralize the fleeing cadres from the camps, the spokesman said.<br \/>\nThe three camps were being used by the outfit as a base for operations by the outfit, Konwer said.<br \/>\nThe busting of the camps followed a similar operation conducted by the forces in Miao circle in March this year which resulted in the destruction of a NSCN (IM) hideout, he added.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CHANGLANG, Jul 4: Security forces deployed here have busted three major camps of the NSCN (IM), during a joint operation here on Tuesday.
