{"id":37592,"date":"2018-07-23T01:13:41","date_gmt":"2018-07-22T19:43:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=37592"},"modified":"2018-07-23T01:13:41","modified_gmt":"2018-07-22T19:43:41","slug":"students-volunteering-for-mission-indradhanush","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/07\/23\/students-volunteering-for-mission-indradhanush\/","title":{"rendered":"Students volunteering for Mission Indradhanush"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NAMSAI, Jul 22:<\/strong> Students of the Arunachal University of Studies (AUS) here participated in a rigorous training programme on 20 July, prior to their carrying out voluntary activities to make Mission Indradhanush a success.<br \/>\nMission Indradhanush is an ambitious project supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children Emergency Fund (UNICEF), focused on achieving the prime minister&#8217;s vision of achieving full immunization by December 2018.<br \/>\nThe AUS has joined the efforts of the government of India and is assisting the Indradhanush team in rigorous monitoring and supervision activities.<br \/>\nThe training was attended by students pursuing masters&#8217; programme in social work and sociology, besides undergraduate sociology students and staff members.<br \/>\nDistrict immunization coordinator Dr Tope Youncha and GoI RRT Dr Girvar S Baria briefed the students on the need for immunization, types of immunization, schedules, monitoring parameters, coverage plans, and reporting pattern.<br \/>\nOn 21 July, two volunteer teams of the AUS started their journey of achieving full immunization by December 2018, under the leadership of Drs Youncha and Baria.<br \/>\nThe plan of monitoring was initiated by District Medical Officer Dr Nani Rika and Drs Youncha and Baria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NAMSAI, Jul 22: Students of the Arunachal University of Studies (AUS) here participated in a rigorous training programme on 20 July, prior to their carrying out voluntary activities to make Mission Indradhanush a success.
