\nAs part of the celebration, meritorious girls and women from the fields of academics, sports, and social work were felicitated.
\nIn academics, Marchi Dolo was felicitated for clearing the NEET for MBBS, while Pimak Neri, Renuka Rapung, and Lungni Gyadi were felicitated for their brilliant performance in the class 12 examination.
\nIn sports, karatekas Yame Gyadi and Mesam Singhi, who represented the state and the country in various events, were felicitated.
\nThe 3rd Nyari Welly Ideal Woman award was given away to Kakap Cheda Dolo.
\nKameng Presidium School and Kampu Hollenorphanage were also felicitated for their humanitarian services.
\nEarlier, WWO president Veena S Waii narrated the life and achievements of Nyari Welly, and exhorted the people, especially the womenfolk, to work together to complete the works left behind by Welly.
\nWWO general secretary Pooja Sonam Natungmade a PowerPoint presentation on the organisations\u2019 activities.
