{"id":39935,"date":"2018-08-08T01:20:26","date_gmt":"2018-08-07T19:50:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=39935"},"modified":"2018-08-08T01:20:26","modified_gmt":"2018-08-07T19:50:26","slug":"teachers-trg-in-planning-mgmt-underway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/08\/08\/teachers-trg-in-planning-mgmt-underway\/","title":{"rendered":"Teachers&#8217; trg in planning, mgmt underway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Aug 7:<\/strong> A four-day training programme on planning, management and administration for head teachers of government upper primary schools got underway at the Dorjee Khandu State Convention Hall here on 7 August.<br \/>\nInaugurating the programme, Education Minister Honchum Ngandam said it is the first of its kind in the state.<br \/>\nSuch training is needed in all organizations, departments, and even in political parties to improve skills, knowledge, experience, and working capabilities, the minister said.<br \/>\n&#8220;Teachers should be acquainted with proper planning, management and administration skills through which they can discipline students,&#8221; Ngandam said.<br \/>\nHe also called for bringing better results in the next CBSE examination, and successful implementation of smart classes in the schools.<br \/>\nEducation Secretary Madhu Rani Teotia said the head teachers have the sole responsibility of running their schools properly, for which they need to acquire training in management and planning.<br \/>\nElementary Education Director Tapi Gao informed that the department is planning to have teachers undergo training outside the state in the near future.<br \/>\nIt was also informed that 170 schools of the state have been selected so far for introduction of smart classes.<br \/>\nHead teachers from different districts are participating in the training programme.
