{"id":41948,"date":"2018-08-24T00:20:28","date_gmt":"2018-08-23T18:50:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=41948"},"modified":"2018-08-24T00:20:28","modified_gmt":"2018-08-23T18:50:28","slug":"apyc-slams-poor-condition-of-general-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/08\/24\/apyc-slams-poor-condition-of-general-hospital\/","title":{"rendered":"APYC slams poor condition of general hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>AALO, Aug 23:<\/strong> Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) president Geli Ete has expressed concern over the poor condition of the general hospital here and called for improving it.<br \/>\nEte, who is on his maiden tour of West Siang district after being appointed the APYC president, visited the hospital with his team on Tuesday, and found that the newly-constructed blood bank building there is not upto the mark and the condition of the male and female wards is poor.<br \/>\nHe requested the district&#8217;s health administration to improve the hospital&#8217;s infrastructure. He sought installation of an MRI machine, proper functioning of the ultrasound unit, installing a generator in the hospital, and posting child and ENT specialists there.<br \/>\nAPYC members took out a rally in the town, and later gathered at Congress Bhavan, where Ete exhorted youths to join mainstream politics and serve the state.<br \/>\nHe emphasized on the need to stop drug abuse which he said was on the rise in West Siang, and asked the police to keep strict vigil on drug peddlers.<br \/>\nThe APYC president also visited Paya village, where he alleged that although fund for the construction of a bridge there was sanctioned during the Congress government&#8217;s time, the bridge is yet to be constructed.<br \/>\nThe APYC also threatened to launch a movement against the PWD and the health department.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AALO, Aug 23: Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) president Geli Ete has expressed concern over the poor condition of the general hospital here and called for improving it.
