{"id":43100,"date":"2018-08-31T00:42:56","date_gmt":"2018-08-30T19:12:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=43100"},"modified":"2018-08-31T00:42:56","modified_gmt":"2018-08-30T19:12:56","slug":"org-seeks-early-construction-of-airport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/08\/31\/org-seeks-early-construction-of-airport\/","title":{"rendered":"Org seeks early construction of airport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Aug 30:<\/strong> The Arunachal Youth Organisation (AYO) has submitted a memorandum to the chief minister, seeking his attention on early construction of the greenfield airport, and on other issues.<br \/>\nThe organisation said the airport construction was being politicized by a few politicians with vested interests for their individual benefit.<br \/>\n&#8220;We strongly stand for its construction, whether it may be at Karsingsa or Hollongi,&#8221; the AYO said in its representation.<br \/>\nIt also sought regular functioning of the drug de-addiction centre in Lathao through an eligible and reputed NGO, and release of funds to ensure its proper functioning.<br \/>\nHighlighting the increase in drug consumption in the capital, the union sought the establishment of a drug de-addiction centre in Itanagar, as well as in all the district headquarters.<br \/>\nThe organisation also demanded that an eviction drive be carried out immediately against illegal encroachers on government quarters in the capital complex and the district headquarters.<br \/>\n&#8220;Government employees are compelled to find accommodation for themselves and their families in rented houses, for which the government is not even granting house rent allowance,&#8221; it said, and asked the government to check illegal encroachment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Aug 30: The Arunachal Youth Organisation (AYO) has submitted a memorandum to the chief minister, seeking his attention on early construction of the greenfield airport, and on other issues.
