{"id":43913,"date":"2018-09-05T01:32:15","date_gmt":"2018-09-04T20:02:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=43913"},"modified":"2018-09-05T01:32:15","modified_gmt":"2018-09-04T20:02:15","slug":"ar-vkaj-conduct-medical-camps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/09\/05\/ar-vkaj-conduct-medical-camps\/","title":{"rendered":"AR, VKAJ conduct medical camps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>JONGAM, Sep 4:<\/strong> Around 200 patients were treated during a medical camp organized here by the Changlang battalion of the Assam Rifles (AR) on 4 September.<br \/>\nThe patients were provided with medicines free of cost and offered medical consultations, informed the defence wing of the PIB.<br \/>\nA general health awareness programme was also conducted by the RMO and the staff of the battalion&#8217;s medical platoon.<br \/>\nThe health camp benefited patients from Jongram and nearby villages. Jongram is one of the remote villages of Changlang district, located near the Indo-Myanmar border, with little or no availability of medical facilities.<br \/>\nThe Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti (VKAJ) also conducted two free medical camps at Rongalibeel and Manpangliang villages in Lekang circle of Namsai district on 3 and 4 September, respectively. More than 300 patients were treated in both the camps, and medicines were provided to them free of cost.<br \/>\nRongalibeel is a remote and flood-affected area of Lekang circle, comprising three villages.<br \/>\nThe All Lekang Area Youth Association, Mahadevpur, collaborated with the VKAJ in conducting the medical camps.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JONGAM, Sep 4: Around 200 patients were treated during a medical camp organized here by the Changlang battalion of the Assam Rifles (AR) on 4 September.
