(MUDRA) loans amounting Rs 20 (approx) lakh were disbursed to 35 women weavers of Longding district.<br \/>\nThe loan sanction letters were distributed to the weavers by Longding Deputy Commissioner Vikram Singh Malik in a programme at his office, here on Wednesday.<br \/>\nThe deputy commissioner said that all the beneficiaries would be recommended under the CM&#8217;s Bunkar Yojana, announced last year.<br \/>\nMalik urged all the beneficiaries to make optimum use of the loans for betterment of their lives and economic status.<br \/>\n&#8220;The MUDRA loans were result of untiring efforts by MLA Thangwang Wangham, who pursued the matter constantly with the bank officials at Longding as well as at Tinsukia, Assam.&#8221;<br \/>\nSBI&#8217;s Longding Branch Manager C Thoudam informed that 25 more loans worth over Rs 10 Lakh will be disbursed in the coming month.<br \/>\nLongding ADC Taga Ekke and Assistant Director of Textile &amp; Handicrafts NK Rana were present on the occasion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LONGDING, Sep 5: The Micro Units Development &amp; Refinance Agency Ltd.
