\nOctober 8, is celebrated as Indian Air force day. It is indeed a proud moment for Indians that Indian women air force personnel will be flying Sukhoi-30 this month. In December 2015, the entry of women into the IAF\u2019s fighter stream was approved on an experimental basis for 5 years, thus paving the way for them to assume combat roles for the first time in one of the world’s largest militaries. These brave Indian women have shown that they are equal and second to none. This progressive step is a great take off to help them soar high in their careers and make the nation proud.
