{"id":46693,"date":"2018-09-26T01:58:13","date_gmt":"2018-09-25T20:28:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=46693"},"modified":"2018-09-26T01:58:13","modified_gmt":"2018-09-25T20:28:13","slug":"trg-on-technical-skill-empowerment-begins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/09\/26\/trg-on-technical-skill-empowerment-begins\/","title":{"rendered":"Trg on technical &#038; skill empowerment begins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>PASIGHAT, Sep 25:<\/strong> Farmers from various parts of the state, along with women groups and students, are participating in a two-day &#8216;tribal technical and skill empowerment&#8217; training programme under the TSP\/NEH which began here on Tuesday.<br \/>\nThe programme is being conducted by the College of Horticulture and Forestry (CHF) here, in collaboration with Bangalore-based ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticulture Research (ICAR-IIHR).<br \/>\nDuring the inaugural programme, which was chaired by CHF Dean Dr BN Hazarika, ICAR-IIHR&#8217;s principal scientists Dr Meera Pandey (mushroom research) and Dr G Senthil Kumaran (APHT&amp;AE division) described mushroom technology as being highly suitable for Arunachal because of the state&#8217;s climatic conditions, and the organic nature, high nutrition value and easy method of cultivation of mushrooms.<br \/>\nAgriculture Deputy Director YJ Lego also attended the inaugural programme.<br \/>\nOver the two days, the farmers will be trained in production and utilization technology related to mushrooms, and the low-cost structures of the machinery used in mushroom cultivation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PASIGHAT, Sep 25: Farmers from various parts of the state, along with women groups and students, are participating in a two-day &#8216;tribal technical and skill empowerment&#8217; training programme under the TSP\/NEH which began here on Tuesday.
