{"id":46844,"date":"2018-09-27T02:00:50","date_gmt":"2018-09-26T20:30:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=46844"},"modified":"2018-09-27T02:00:50","modified_gmt":"2018-09-26T20:30:50","slug":"cs-raises-issue-of-sbi-staff-shortage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/09\/27\/cs-raises-issue-of-sbi-staff-shortage\/","title":{"rendered":"CS raises issue of SBI staff shortage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Sep 26:<\/strong> Chief Secretary Satya Gopal has raised the issue of shortage of staff in the banks at Tirap, Changlang, Seppa and Namsai during a meeting with the officials of the State Bank of India.<br \/>\nThe CS told SBI NE Circle Chief General Manager Sunil Kumar Tandon that due to shortage in staffs, banks were unable to depute required staff to the &#8216;Sarkar Apke Dwar&#8217; events to facilitate the public to open bank accounts for financial inclusion under various central programmes.<br \/>\nThe CS said that point of sale (POS) machines and micro-ATMs should be set up in remote areas for easy access of bank services even in remote locations.<br \/>\nHe also asked the banks for proper implementation of the prime minister&#8217;s flagship schemes.<br \/>\nTandon assured posting of sufficient numbers of staff in the state.<br \/>\nHe also assured to provide sufficient employees in the various camps under &#8216;Sarkar Apke Dwar&#8217;, provided the bank is informed on time.
