The rallyists will reach Thai capital Bangkok on 1 October, in time for the business summit being held there.<br \/>\n&#8220;The rally aims at promoting international relationships in tourism and business, and the traditional and cultural relationship between the Southeast Asian nations,&#8221; said International Friendship Car Rally Association president Pem Sonam.<br \/>\nThe rally is a first of its kind in that 28 participants &#8211; from among the 30 from India &#8211; are from Arunachal Pradesh.<br \/>\nThe event is jointly sponsored by the union sports &amp; youth affairs ministry, the union tourism ministry, the departments of tourism and youth affairs of the state government, and the Indian Oil Corporation, with support from the external affairs ministry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Sep 28: The India-ASEAN Friendship (IAF) car rally, which was flagged off from Tawang on 12 September, set out from Laos on Friday.
