\nRUKSIN, Oct 13:<\/strong> Six drugs peddlers were arrested in two separate cases and brown Sugar were seized from their possession by police.
\nPasighat Police, following a tip off, arrested two persons including a housewife and seized brown sugar from their possession.
\nThe police team led by Pasighat SDPO T Makcha caught one Paramatma Sah (30) of Rayang village red handed with Brown Sugar at Pasighat bazaar Thursday morning.
\nLater, Police following information provided by him, arrested one Mitii Pait (35) of Leku Jelom village (Assam) with help of Assam Police, and seized Brown Sugar from her residence.
\nPait, a mother of two, took the names of four her accomplices involved in the drug peddling.
\nEarlier too, she was arrested by Pasighat Police in charge of selling narcotics substances.
\nPasighat Police registered a case under NDPS Act and launched further investigation.
\nEarlier on Wednesday, Jonai (Assam) Police nabbed four drugs peddlers, and seized Brown Sugar from their possession.
\nThey allegedly peddled drugs from Laimekuri area to Nari sub-division.
\nA separate case under NDPS Act has been registered in Jonai Police Station against them, who have been remanded to judicial custody.<\/p>\n
