{"id":51982,"date":"2018-11-20T00:10:59","date_gmt":"2018-11-19T18:40:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=51982"},"modified":"2018-11-20T00:10:59","modified_gmt":"2018-11-19T18:40:59","slug":"sai-bags-overall-championship-title-in-state-karate-cship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/11\/20\/sai-bags-overall-championship-title-in-state-karate-cship\/","title":{"rendered":"SAI bags overall championship title in state karate c&#8217;ship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Nov 19:<\/strong> Sports Authority of India (SAI), Special Area Game Centre, Naharlagun, won the overall championship title with 17 gold, 12 silver and 6 bronze medals in the 23rd State Level Karate-Do Championship, which was held at Lohit HQ Tezu from 15 to 18 November.<br \/>\nUpper Subansiri won the first runner-up title with 10 gold medals, while Papum Pare bagged the second runner-up title with eight gold, 10 silver and 6 bronze medals.<br \/>\nArunachal Karate Do Association president Likha Tara said all the gold medallists have been selected for the sixth National Level North East Karate-Do Championship to be held at Dimapur, Nagaland, from 10 to 12 December.<br \/>\nOver 700 karatekas from all over the state participated in the championship, which was conducted under the supervision of AKA technical director S Deben Sharma and general secretary Bulang Marik.<br \/>\nThe closing ceremony was attended by engineer Ginko Linggi, Lohit DFO Soplan Manyu, former Tezu ZPM Bademso Tayang and CALSOM general secretary Suraj Tayang.<br \/>\nThe opening ceremony was attended by Sports &amp; Youth Affairs Minister Dr Mohesh Chai, former national ABVP general secretary Vinay Bidre, Lohit DC Karma Leki and SP Dorjee Wangdi Thungon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Nov 19: Sports Authority of India (SAI), Special Area Game Centre, Naharlagun, won the overall championship title with 17 gold, 12 silver and 6 bronze medals in the 23rd State Level Karate-Do Championship, which was held at Lohit HQ Tezu from 15 to 18 November.
