{"id":52239,"date":"2018-11-24T01:47:43","date_gmt":"2018-11-23T20:17:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=52239"},"modified":"2018-11-24T01:47:43","modified_gmt":"2018-11-23T20:17:43","slug":"independent-director-sought","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/11\/24\/independent-director-sought\/","title":{"rendered":"Independent director sought"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Nov 23:<\/strong> The Arunachal Youth Organisation (AYO) has demanded creation of the post of an independent and separate director of the mental health department.<br \/>\nIn a representation to the health &amp; family welfare minister, the organisation stated that the lone mental health centre in Midpu is facing hardship in administration because of the absence of an independent director.<br \/>\nWith growing drug addiction and rise in the number of mentally challenged patients, the mental health centre needs to be well-equipped with staff and doctors, the AYO said.<br \/>\nIt also demanded early renovation of the mental health centre and equipping it with adequate infrastructure.<br \/>\nSince its establishment, the AYO said, mental health centre in Midpu &#8220;has become a cattle shed due to unavailability of staff.
