{"id":52706,"date":"2018-11-28T01:37:25","date_gmt":"2018-11-27T20:07:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=52706"},"modified":"2018-11-28T01:37:25","modified_gmt":"2018-11-27T20:07:25","slug":"traditional-archery-competition-concludes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/11\/28\/traditional-archery-competition-concludes\/","title":{"rendered":"Traditional archery competition concludes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>PASIGHAT, Nov 27:<\/strong> The traditional archery competition, which was organized by the 1862 Light Regiment of the Sigar military station, concluded at Giidii Notko here in East Siang district on Monday.<br \/>\nToni Megu of Ayeng village won the first position in the competition, while Kasem Tayeng of Sigar village and Kanggong Tayeng of Ayeng village secured the second and third position, respectively.<br \/>\nCommanding Officer Col Ankur Kulin, who gave away the prizes to the winners, exhorted the participants to restore the glory of the traditional cultures, which he said is gradually disappearing due to various reasons.<br \/>\nLt Col Ashish Saxena supervised the competition.<br \/>\nOver 20 villages participated in the first phase of the competition.
