{"id":53605,"date":"2018-12-05T01:39:18","date_gmt":"2018-12-04T20:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=53605"},"modified":"2018-12-05T01:39:18","modified_gmt":"2018-12-04T20:09:18","slug":"villagers-demand-proper-maintenance-of-pmgsy-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/12\/05\/villagers-demand-proper-maintenance-of-pmgsy-road\/","title":{"rendered":"Villagers demand proper maintenance of PMGSY road"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Correspondent<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>RUKSIN, Dec 4:<\/strong> The public of Depi, Detak and Depi-Moli villages under Nari-Koyu constituency have demanded immediate maintenance and repair of the Nari to Ruksin road.<br \/>\nThey say the road under PMGSY is lying in a bad shape for years for want of maintenance.<br \/>\nDepi-Detak Youth Association President Noa Ngokir and Secretary Obang Taloh blamed the Nari PWD division for the deplorable condition of the road.<br \/>\nThey alleged that in spite of providing the locally available materials like boulders, sand-gravel free of cost, the department has not repaired the road.<br \/>\nThey also alleged non-clearance of drains and debris in certain portions of the road properly, non-repair of the broken retaining walls\/ abutment, culverts etc in the last two years, which is causing great inconvenience to the motorists.<br \/>\nHowever, PWD division, following public complaint is taking up repairing works of the road and, recently started re-carpeting of the worn-out portions.<br \/>\nThe local villagers, who are monitoring the ongoing repairing activities, urged the department to maintain work quality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Correspondent RUKSIN, Dec 4: The public of Depi, Detak and Depi-Moli villages under Nari-Koyu constituency have demanded immediate maintenance and repair of the Nari to Ruksin road.
