{"id":5450,"date":"2017-10-17T01:16:27","date_gmt":"2017-10-16T19:46:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=5450"},"modified":"2017-10-17T01:16:27","modified_gmt":"2017-10-16T19:46:27","slug":"nursing-college-without-facilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2017\/10\/17\/nursing-college-without-facilities\/","title":{"rendered":"Nursing College without facilities"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Dear Editor,<\/strong><br \/>\nThrough the column of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of concern stakeholders of North East Nursing College of Health Science, Itanagar.<br \/>\nIf my calculation is not mistaken, we took admission in your institute in the month of June but surprisingly, neither the college nor the hostel is ready for academic curriculum.<br \/>\nWe have been asked to join hostel on 2nd October, 2017. Accordingly we moved from our respective district but to our dismay, the date was postponed to 7th October, 201. Alas! A phone rang again only to hear that, the date of joining hostel is further extended by a day. Accordingly, almost all the students moved to the location only to find everything in mess. No classroom, no hostel, no electricity, no bed, no refectory. Again respected hostel warden says, \u2018wait for further order\u2019.<br \/>\nEvery premier institute is supposed to have pre-defined academic calendar which is very much missing in this institute. Does the authority have any idea how we are managing our stays in Itanagar after coming all the way from our respective districts?<br \/>\nWe are temporarily accommodated in our relative\u2019s home and some are made to adjust with our respected seniors. Several times we asked for contact number of the Chairman, the Secretary and the Principal of this institute so that we can directly talk to the responsible authority. However, the employee of this institute does not have their contact numbers. Is not it funny?<br \/>\nIt has been informed that the North East Nursing College of Health Science, Itanagar is running under the Abotani Charitable Society and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh.<br \/>\nIf it is true, why should not we question Rajiv Gandhi University, Doimukh for not having any mechanism to monitor its affiliated colleges?<br \/>\nInstitute like RGU should not restrict itself to giving affiliation, it should also check the quality of infrastructure and availability of faculties in the institute.<br \/>\nI seek for early solution to the problem.<br \/>\n<strong>Yours,<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>A student, <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Itanagar<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Editor, Through the column of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of concern stakeholders of North East Nursing College of Health Science, Itanagar.
