{"id":54643,"date":"2018-12-14T00:11:46","date_gmt":"2018-12-13T18:41:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=54643"},"modified":"2018-12-14T00:11:46","modified_gmt":"2018-12-13T18:41:46","slug":"union-seeks-surgeon-medicine-specialist-at-gh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/12\/14\/union-seeks-surgeon-medicine-specialist-at-gh\/","title":{"rendered":"Union seeks surgeon, medicine specialist at GH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ITANAGAR, Dec 13:<\/strong> The Galo Students&#8217; Union (GSU) has requested the health &amp; family welfare minister to post a surgeon and a medicine specialist at the general hospital (GH) in West Siang HQ Aalo.<br \/>\nIn a representation to the minister, the union on Thursday said the GH, which has recently been designated as a zonal hospital, is running without a medicine specialist and a surgeon.<br \/>\n&#8220;Due to absence of a medicine specialist and a surgeon, even minor diseases are being referred to other hospitals, causing untold miseries to the patients,&#8221; it said.<br \/>\nIt said although Drs Kenba Padu (surgeon) and Lito Ete (medicine specialist) had been posted to the GH a few months back, the surgeon has been absorbed in the TRIHMS and the medicine specialist has been retained at the district hospital in East Kameng HQ Seppa, &#8220;rendering the transfer and posting of them anfractuous.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe GSU urged the state government to issue necessary direction for the joining of Drs Padu and Ete at the Aalo GH immediately.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Dec 13: The Galo Students&#8217; Union (GSU) has requested the health &amp; family welfare minister to post a surgeon and a medicine specialist at the general hospital (GH) in West Siang HQ Aalo.
