{"id":55336,"date":"2018-12-20T01:04:15","date_gmt":"2018-12-19T19:34:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=55336"},"modified":"2018-12-20T01:04:18","modified_gmt":"2018-12-19T19:34:18","slug":"admin-prohibits-interference-with-row-during-maintenance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2018\/12\/20\/admin-prohibits-interference-with-row-during-maintenance\/","title":{"rendered":"Admin prohibits interference with RoW during maintenance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>DAPORIJO, Dec 19:<\/strong> Upper Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Danish Ashraf on Wednesday directed the SDO here to issue an executive order prohibiting anyone from interfering with the right of way (RoW) of the Trans-Arunachal Highway (TAH) in the district during repair and maintenance work, and to take legal action against those who violate the order.<br \/>\nThe DC gave the direction to SDO J Padung during a meeting here to review the repair and maintenance work on the highway from Sigin Bridge in Daporijo to Dumporijo, and from Dumporijo to Tai.<br \/>\nThe contractors who attended the meeting highlighted the issues they face, such as local interference while clearing chocked culverts; earth-cutting by individuals causing drain blockage; and leakage of water from PHED pipelines at several locations.<br \/>\nThey requested the administration to take necessary action for smooth execution of the work.<br \/>\nThe DC also directed the superintendent of police to deploy CRPF and police personnel as and when required during the maintenance work.<br \/>\nAshraf asked the contractors to increase their manpower and machinery to complete the maintenance work during the non-monsoon season, and to submit weekly reports on the work&#8217;s progress to the monitoring teams headed by the ADCs of Daporijo and Dumporijo.<br \/>\nThe DC urged all stakeholders to coordinate and help in expediting the repair and maintenance work.
