{"id":56860,"date":"2019-01-07T01:30:33","date_gmt":"2019-01-06T20:00:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=56860"},"modified":"2019-01-07T01:30:35","modified_gmt":"2019-01-06T20:00:35","slug":"dbyc-skill-trainees-evaluation-meeting-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/01\/07\/dbyc-skill-trainees-evaluation-meeting-held\/","title":{"rendered":"DBYC skill trainees&#8217; evaluation meeting held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>KURAVILANGAD, Jan 6:<\/strong> Forty-three youths from Arunachal Pradesh who are working in eight resorts and hotels in Kerala took part in a two-day &#8216;training-cum-evaluation meeting of skill trainees&#8217; which concluded here on Sunday.<br \/>\nThe youths had earlier been imparted skill development training by the Itanagar-based Don Bosco Youth Centre (DBYC).<br \/>\nAddressing the participants, Arunachal Pradesh Skill Development &amp; Entrepreneurship Director Subu Tabin spoke on the need to &#8220;up-skill and re-skill oneself&#8221; and to continue working in a particular place for a reasonable amount of time to hone one&#8217;s skills in one&#8217;s trade.<br \/>\n&#8220;Those who are skilled need not look for jobs while the unskilled find it hard to get jobs in spite of their educational qualifications, as jobs for the unskilled are much less, compared to the jobs available for the skilled,&#8221; Tabin said.<br \/>\nHe advised the trainees to be disciplined, hardworking and honest in their profession, and commended the DBYC for &#8220;not only training and placing youths in the hospitality sector, but also following them up to encourage them.&#8221;<br \/>\nDBYC director Fr Cyriac also spoke.
