A case has been filed in the court of the chief judicial magistrate here against the perpetrators under the Wildlife Protection Act, reports DIPRO.<br \/>\nBefore the arrests were made, Mechukha RFO Marbom Sora and his team of officials posed as customers at the shop, located on the right side of Siko Dido waterfall, on the way to Mechukha.<br \/>\nAfter an hour&#8217;s wait, they saw a group of local people coming to the shop &#8211; one of them carrying a large Indian civet hidden inside a basket.<br \/>\nThe team pounced and caught the culprit and the shop&#8217;s owner red-handed.<br \/>\nIt has been reported that the roadside shop, owned by Tatu Kiri, is often used for selling wildlife meat.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AALO, Jan 11: A team of forest officials led by West Siang DFO Abhinav Kumar arrested two men and seized a hunted Indian civet from their possession during a raid on a roadside shop near Hirgo village in Shi-Yomi district.
