{"id":57711,"date":"2019-01-18T00:17:02","date_gmt":"2019-01-17T18:47:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=57711"},"modified":"2019-01-18T00:17:02","modified_gmt":"2019-01-17T18:47:02","slug":"trg-on-aromatic-plants-cultivation-imparted","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/01\/18\/trg-on-aromatic-plants-cultivation-imparted\/","title":{"rendered":"Trg on aromatic plants cultivation imparted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>KUMARI, Jan 17:<\/strong> The Namsai Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) organized a training programme on &#8216;cultivation and processing of aromatic plants&#8217; for the farmers of Kumari Adivasi village on Thursday, under Jorhat (Assam)-based CSIR-NEIST&#8217;s &#8216;Aroma Mission&#8217;.<br \/>\nDuring the programme, KVK Head Dr Manish Kanwat emphasized the need for &#8220;a synergistic approach, such as medicinal plant cultivation and its product marketing,&#8221; for doubling the farmers&#8217; income by 2022.<br \/>\nCSIR-NEIST scientist Dr Mohanlal explained how to use natural resources, such as by cultivating medicinal and aromatic plants, for generating self-employment avenues for the rural youths.
