{"id":57780,"date":"2019-01-19T00:16:29","date_gmt":"2019-01-18T18:46:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=57780"},"modified":"2019-01-19T00:16:29","modified_gmt":"2019-01-18T18:46:29","slug":"atcf-activities-under-rntcp-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/01\/19\/atcf-activities-under-rntcp-launched\/","title":{"rendered":"ATCF activities under RNTCP launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>YINGKIONG, Jan 18:<\/strong> Upper Siang DC (in-charge) Gyabo Pertin launched the active tuberculosis case finding (ATCF) activities under the Revised National Tuberculosis Programme (RNTCP) at the government girls&#8217; residential school here on Friday.<br \/>\nDistrict TB Officer Dr Ahik Miyu informed that trained health staffs will conduct house-to-house screening for TB among target populations in the district, with the primary objective of detecting TB cases early in order to initiate treatment promptly.<br \/>\nPertin in his address said the people&#8217;s attitude towards TB, as well as management of TB cases, have changed over the years.<br \/>\nHe urged the students to &#8220;correctly share their relevant personal health information with the health staff for maximum benefit.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe students and teachers of the school were screened for TB on the inaugural day of the programme, which is being undertaken by the District Health Society.
