{"id":58637,"date":"2019-01-29T01:21:48","date_gmt":"2019-01-28T19:51:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=58637"},"modified":"2019-01-29T01:21:48","modified_gmt":"2019-01-28T19:51:48","slug":"hearing-on-appscce-adjourned","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/01\/29\/hearing-on-appscce-adjourned\/","title":{"rendered":"Hearing on APPSCCE adjourned"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Staff Reporter <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>NAHARLAGUN, Jan 28:<\/strong> The hearing in the matter of the order to constitute an expert committee to look into the alleged anomalies in the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive (Prelims) Examination (APPSCCE) at the Itanagar bench of the Gauhati High Court here was adjourned on Monday.<br \/>\nThe hearing was adjourned as the counsels for the petitioners (commerce and 221 other subject candidates) were appearing before the principal bench of the Gauhati High Court in Assam on the same day regarding the writ appeal made by the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC), challenging the 14 November, 2018, order of the Itanagar bench.<br \/>\nOn 14 November last year, the single-bench court here had ordered constituting an expert committee, headed by the vice chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University, to look into the alleged anomalies in the APPSCCE.<br \/>\nOne of the counsels for the candidates, Sunil Mow, informed that the APPSC has filed two writ appeals challenging the constitution of the expert committee, and the next hearing in Guwahati, Assam, been scheduled for 20 February.<br \/>\nIn its writ appeals, the APPSC had highlighted that the commission has its own expert committee which had looked into the alleged anomalies and given compensatory marks accordingly.<br \/>\nThe joint hearing for the writ petitions made by the candidates in the Itanagar bench has been scheduled for 28 February.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Staff Reporter NAHARLAGUN, Jan 28: The hearing in the matter of the order to constitute an expert committee to look into the alleged anomalies in the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive (Prelims) Examination (APPSCCE) at the Itanagar bench of the Gauhati High Court here was adjourned on Monday.
