{"id":58901,"date":"2019-02-02T01:59:28","date_gmt":"2019-02-01T20:29:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=58901"},"modified":"2019-02-02T01:59:28","modified_gmt":"2019-02-01T20:29:28","slug":"review-meeting-on-pmay-hfa-u-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/02\/02\/review-meeting-on-pmay-hfa-u-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Review meeting on PMAY-HFA (U) held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong>NAHARLAGUN, Feb 1:<\/strong> The Itanagar Municipal Council (IMC) in collaboration with the city level training cell (CLTC) team from the Itanagar cluster organized an &#8216;awareness programme-cum-review meeting on beneficiary-led-construction component (house construction process) under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana &#8211; Housing for All (Urban)&#8217; &#8211; the PMAY-HFA (U) &#8211; at the IMC office here on Friday.<br \/>\nAddressing the participants, Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso urged the beneficiaries to take full benefit of the PMAY-HFA (U), a flagship programme of the central government. &#8220;There should not be homeless citizens in the capital area,&#8221; he said, and urged the officers and officials to release Rs 50,000 as advance money under the scheme for the economically poor people to help them build their houses.<br \/>\nSSW Marcony Potom explained the various components of the PMAY-HFA (U), such as beneficiary led construction (BLC), the credit linked subsidy scheme, and the process of payment.<br \/>\nHe informed the beneficiaries that under the BLC component, the government is giving a onetime assistance in three installments for construction of a house for up to Rs 1.5 lakhs, so that every citizen owns a house by 2022.<br \/>\nHe urged the IMC&#8217;s officers and officials to release the first installment to the beneficiaries at the earliest, and to submit necessary documents for the release of the second installment.<br \/>\nDuring the technical session, resource person Jummo Potom spoke on the BLC house construction process, and about the recent changes made in the guidelines under the PMAY-HFA (U).<br \/>\nMIS expert from CLTC, Techi Yaniam, spoke on the mode of payment through the PFMS to the beneficiaries.
