{"id":60197,"date":"2019-02-14T01:57:06","date_gmt":"2019-02-13T20:27:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=60197"},"modified":"2019-02-14T01:57:06","modified_gmt":"2019-02-13T20:27:06","slug":"forum-alleges-fraud-in-tender-process-alleges-police-of-not-registering-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/02\/14\/forum-alleges-fraud-in-tender-process-alleges-police-of-not-registering-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Forum alleges fraud in tender process, alleges police of not registering case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Staff Reporter <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ITANAGAR, Feb 13: T<\/strong>he Likabali Intellectual Forum (LIF) has alleged that no action has been initiated by the police despite lodging of an FIR with the Likabali Police station, Lower Siang district by the proprietor of NT Enterprise against the RWD division Aalo Executive Engineer, proprietor of M\/s Jaryir Enterprises and the concern contractor for alleged forgery of documents and fraudulent awarding of tender.<br \/>\nAddressing reporters at the Arunachal Press Club here on Wednesday afternoon, LIF president, Nyakar Taipodia claimed that the proprietor of M\/s NT Enterprise had on 4 February last, lodged an FIR with the Likabali police station alleging forgery of documents and fraudulent awarding of tender &#8220;but the police are yet to register the case.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;If the police fail to initiate an inquiry soon, we would be compelled to resort to democratic action to press for our demands,&#8221; he stated.<br \/>\nSpeaking on behalf of M\/s NT Enterprise, Iken Tao claimed that the said firm&#8217;s documents were forged to get contract works<br \/>\nagainst M\/s Jaryir Enterprise and have been used to illegally award two projects, namely improvement and strengthening of road from Gensi to Tatamori and from Tatamori to Litemori.<br \/>\n&#8220;Both projects allotted about rupees two crores eighty-eight lakhs each under the SIDF was awarded to the said firm in violation of section 4 of the Arunachal Pradesh District Based Entrepreneurs and Professionals (Incentives, Developmental and Promotional) Act, 2015,&#8221; he alleged.<br \/>\nFurther claiming that the proprietor of M\/s Jaryir Enterprise is a relative of 28 Likabali MLA Kardo Nyigyor, Tao had sought re-tendering of the NIT against the two projects and urged the concerned department to initiate an inquiry into the whole issue.<br \/>\nHe further said that the firm is also prepared to take the legal course if immediate action is not taken.<br \/>\nReacting to the allegations, MLA, Kardo Nyigyor termed the allegations as &#8220;baseless and politically motivated.&#8221;<br \/>\n&#8220;Their claims that the proprietor of M\/s Jaryir Enterprise is a relative of mine is untrue.
