{"id":60200,"date":"2019-02-14T01:59:13","date_gmt":"2019-02-13T20:29:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/?p=60200"},"modified":"2019-02-14T01:59:13","modified_gmt":"2019-02-13T20:29:13","slug":"nsccc-approves-project-for-rejuvenation-of-papum-poma-river","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arunachaltimes.in\/index.php\/2019\/02\/14\/nsccc-approves-project-for-rejuvenation-of-papum-poma-river\/","title":{"rendered":"NSCCC approves project for rejuvenation of Papum-Poma River"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>NEW DELHI, Feb 13:<\/strong> The 14th meeting of the National Steering Committee on Climate Change (NSCCC) was held on 7 February last here at the Kaveri Meeting Hall, Indira Paryavaran Bhawan, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change under the chair of Secretary EF&amp;CC and Chairman NSCCC, CK Mishra.<br \/>\nRepresentative from various states and union territories of the country took part in the meeting and deliberations were made on the presentations made by them.<br \/>\nThe Arunachal Pradesh government also presented the project titled &#8216;Addressing Climate Change Vulnerability of Papum-Poma River&#8217; at a proposed cost of Rs 24.70 crore for three years, which was approved by the national steering committee.<br \/>\nThe state was represented by PCCF (Env &amp; CC) AK Shukla and Deputy Director (Environment &amp; CC) and Project Coordinator D Dohu Robin.
