They shouted slogans like &#8220;Veer jawan amar rahe,&#8221; and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.<br \/>\nIn Jairampur in Changlang district, a candlelight march was organised by the local administration, led by ADC SS Choudhury.<br \/>\nLocal MLA Laisam Simai, who also joined the march, extended condolences to the grieving families of the CRPF jawans who lost their lives in the terrorist attack.<br \/>\nIn Lower Dibang Valley HQ Roing, more than 600 people, including police and CRPF jawans, participated in a candlelight march from Old Roing gate to Kera-aa jubilee ground to offer tributes to the martyrs of the Pulwama attack.<br \/>\nDuring the procession, which was organized by the All Idu Mishmi Students&#8217; Union, the participants shouted slogans against terrorism and burnt the posters of the suicide bomber, Adil Ahmed Dar.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, PTI reported that civil society organisations on Friday set ablaze a Pakistani flag in Itanagar to protest the terrorist attack at Pulwama in Kashmir on Thursday that left 42 CRPF personnel dead.<br \/>\nMembers of the organisations assembled on NH-415, shouted slogans against Pakistan, and set fire to the country&#8217;s flag.<br \/>\nThey also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soldiers and staged a candlelight procession.<br \/>\nArunachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Takam Sanjoy termed the Pulwama attack one against the sovereignty of India.<br \/>\n&#8220;The Centre should give a befitting reply to Pakistan for its inhuman acts against security personnel of India,&#8221; Sanjoy said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ITANAGAR, Feb 16: Hundreds of students and people from all walks of life across the state staged candlelight marches to pay tributes to the 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans who died in a suicide bomb attack on a convoy in Pulwama in Jammu &amp; Kashmir on Thursday.
